Lima`s declaration and action plan call for a redistribution of global industry so that developing countries will have 25% by the year 2000. To do this, radical changes are recommended in traditional approaches and practices. Economic growth in the poorest countries could no longer be seen as the advantage of growth in rich countries. To bridge the gap between rich and poor countries, developing countries should grow faster than developed countries. To this end, the Lima Declaration defines the „core principles of industrialization“ and defines „the means by which the international community as a whole could take comprehensive steps to create a new international economic order.“ 1.8 state that energy should become one of the axes of bi-regional relations in the coming years, particularly in the areas of energy production and energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy development and other strategies to combat climate change, taking into account the importance of energy for the sustainable development of ASPA members. 1.9 Strengthen scientific coordination and cooperation, particularly in the areas of information society, adaptation and mitigation of the effects of climate change, the fight against desertification and the management of water resources. UNIDO supports countries in their environmental management efforts, including the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements and the provision of sustainable energy. It contributes to the creation of new green industries, establishes national roadmaps for greening the supply chain, identifies benchmarks and indicators, disseminates best practices, implements clean technology programs, conducts various capacity-building exercises and contributes to international forums with the necessary research and expertise. 2.3 Arab countries greatly appreciate the position of the South American countries, which have recognized the State of Palestine as the capital on the pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem and invite other countries to follow suit. welcomes the support of the South American countries, which presented, on 23 September 2011, to UNITED Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the request of Palestine presented on 23 September 2011 to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for the accession of Palestine as a member of the United Nations State on the basis of the 4 June 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as a measure that will contribute to the realization of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the realization of peace in the Middle East.
