Wfp Agreement

A field agreement (FLA) is the most important agreement used in all types of NGO partnership agreements. It is used in all circumstances where NGOs manage WFP resources or carry out activities on behalf of WFP. An FLA promotes global coherence in the partnership cycle and gives both parties peace of mind that their interests are protected by law. WFP has also implemented Restoration Agreements (ASPs) to reduce procurement times and costs. These agreements enable WFP to seize opportunities in commodity markets. ASPs must adhere to wfP`s procurement principles: fair competition, segregation of duties, transparency, ethics and accountability. As part of wfP`s strategy to streamline the procurement of frequently purchased goods and services, various long-term agreements (LTATs) are also used.
